These terms govern your use of melbournecabstaxi.com.au and any taxi or maxi cab booking you make through this site or by phone. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Bookings

All bookings are subject to driver and vehicle availability. A submitted booking form is a request — we will contact you by phone or email to confirm. Pre-booked rides may be quoted at a fixed upfront fare; meter fares apply where no quote was provided.

Cancellations & no-shows

Bookings cancelled more than 60 minutes before pickup are free of charge. Cancellations made within 60 minutes of pickup, or no-show at the pickup point, may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the minimum fare for the booked vehicle type.

Payment

We accept cash, EFTPOS and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Card surcharges may apply. Corporate account billing is available by prior arrangement.

Lost property

Items left in vehicles can be reclaimed by contacting us at 0422 904 747. We will make reasonable efforts to return items but accept no liability for valuables left behind.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the cost of the booked ride. We are not liable for indirect losses, including missed flights or appointments caused by traffic, weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Conduct

Drivers may refuse service to any passenger behaving abusively, aggressively, or being unfit to travel safely. Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
